“The Most Valuable Cake in the World” was revealed at an exclusive VIP Cocktail Party at Cupid’s Delights cake gallery.

Julia was inspired to make the most valuable cake when a client had asked whether she had ever made a cake with diamonds. Julia thought this would be an opportunity to showcase the talents at Cupid's Delight to the world and apply for a Guinness World Record ™

Cupid’s Delight, joined forces with their sponsor Koro Fine Australian Jewellery to create “The Most Valuable Cake in the World” and are set to break a new Guinness World Record™

The cake was estimated at a value of over AUD$3 million and showcased an array of beautiful loose and rare diamonds, pink diamonds, coloured gems including sapphire and tourmaline and Broome and Tahitian pearls. It was uniquely designed and crafted the team at Cupid’s Delight.  It’s estimated weight was 80kg and it was decorated with the stunning diamonds on the outside. The inside of the cake was made from the finest quality ingredients to produce a rich, dark and decadent chocolate fruit cake.

The cake took 5 days to create and 3 cake artists to assemble the jewels on the cake.

“We wanted to create an exquisite cake that would capture a timeless piece of art. Myself and my team have always been passionate about the art of cake decorating and would like to showcase our talents to the world” 

The cake is now available for purchase and there has been some overseas interest.
